  • Construction of Buildings for Offices, Control Rooms.
  • Fire Protection System.
  • Blowdown Piping System.
  • Tie-In to the existing Sea Water Intake System.
  • Tie-In with existing central Control Room.
  • In-Plant Communication System.

Technology Transfer:

The Shuaiba II Expansion Project included technology transfer to SWCC committee engineers where SMEC/SKO is transferring MED-TVC technology to SWCC.

SMEC/SKO is conducting technology transfer through explaining clearly the design of all subjects related to MED-TVC design with Internal and external parts of MED-TVC. SWCC committee engineers have been trained very well by SMEC/SKO to use software & programs in MED-TVC design. Technology transfer was also conducting by two types, basic engineering sessions and detailed engineering sessions. Basic engineering sessions for one month while detailed engineering session for seven months.

Technology transfer sessions was done on site and gone parallel with constructions. Additionally SWCC committee engineers were visited for internal & overseas factories/manufacturers in Japan & Korea and managed for all equipment supplied.

SWCC committee engineers now capable to design a complete MED-TVC unit independently after this project & Technology Transfer Training.
